Awaab’s Law coming into force is good news – but it doesn’t go far enough
The second phase will be rolled out in 2026, when Awaab’s Law will be expanded to address all category 1 hazards in the housing health and safety rating system (HHSRS), which go beyond just mould and damp issues.
