The Rosendin Foundation is raising the bar on community impact. The San Jose, California–based nonprofit has doubled its maximum grant award from $50,000 to $100,000 for its 2026 grant cycle, opening the door for deeper and more sustained support of organizations working across emotional, occupational and nutritional health.
Applications are now open, with a May 29 deadline, and qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations are encouraged to apply. The Foundation plans to distribute at least $2.5 million in grants this year, with awards announced in the fourth quarter. The annual cycle represents the organization’s largest funding opportunity and reflects a continued commitment to meeting growing community needs with meaningful, catalytic investment.
“The Rosendin Foundation was built on the belief that timely, catalytic funding can change the trajectory of a nonprofit—and the lives it serves,” says Chandra Stewart, Executive Director of The Rosendin Foundation. “By doubling our grant cap to $100,000, we are honoring our roots as angel investors while expanding our ability to support organizations driving longer-term change. This evolution allows us to meet today’s community challenges with both heart and scale.”
Since its launch, the Foundation has supported a wide range of organizations, from large regional nonprofits to grassroots community groups. Past recipients include America’s Mighty Warriors, which serves thousands of veteran families nationwide, and Meals on Wheels Collin County, which delivers direct nutritional support at the local level. Grant funding has backed mental health counseling programs, workforce training initiatives and community food banks—often providing the resources needed to scale impact or stabilize critical services.
“This decision reflects thoughtful stewardship of the Foundation’s growth and responsibility and intentionally aligns our granting strategy with both community need and long-term impact,” says Hank Brasch, Board Chair of The Rosendin Foundation and CAO of Rosendin Electric.
Formed in 2020 as the charitable arm of Rosendin Holdings, The Rosendin Foundation centralizes the company’s commitment to community giving. To date, the Foundation has distributed more than $6.7 million to nearly 500 nonprofits nationwide, strengthening connections between Rosendin and the communities where its employees live and work as the company continues to grow.
