Callier received the honor alongside Ben Reyes, CEO of REYTEC during the forum’s annual gathering. The award highlights leaders who actively share knowledge, guide business owners and strengthen Houston’s small business ecosystem through mentorship and advocacy. “This award was truly a welcomed surprise. It really means a lot to know that sharing insights, tips and real-world strategies makes a positive difference for other business owners.”
For more than two decades, Callier has played a key role in supporting contractors and suppliers navigating permitting procurement readiness compliance and capital programs. Known for translating complex processes into practical guidance she has become a trusted resource for entrepreneurs seeking to scale sustainably in the AEC sector.
The Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum has served the region for more than 34 years connecting small businesses with public- and private-sector contracting opportunities. Its Mentor of the Year Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate long-term commitment to business education and collaboration.
Through workshops, speaking engagements and one-on-one guidance Callier has helped firms pursue work with organizations, including Harris Health Houston Public Works, METRO Transit, Port Houston, H-E-B and major general contractors.
