MuleHide Territory Manager Ed Kochanek Moves to NY Metro

Ed Kochanek, a territory manager for low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide, has relocated to the company’s New York Metro territory. He had overseen the company’s South New Jersey/Delaware territory since January 2023.

He is the company’s lead contact with customers in the area. His responsibilities include helping ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specification, working with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branch teams to develop the best solutions to meet property owners’ roofing needs, and providing ongoing product, technical and sales training for contractors and ABC Supply associates.

Before joining MuleHide, Kochanek was director of operations/estimating for a New Jersey-based low-slope roofing contractor for more than seven years. Prior to that, he ran his own contracting business in New Jersey.

“Ed is right at home in the New York Metro territory,” said Northeast Region Director Rob Keating. “He cut his commercial roofing teeth there 10 years ago, helping lead a large commercial roofing firm, and has built on that success since joining us. That experience, along with his technical prowess, strong sales skills and deep knowledge of the market, will make him a great asset to our customers there.”

Kochanek has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (now Stockton University) in Galloway, New Jersey. He is also an authorized Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Outreach Trainer, completing the necessary coursework at the Rutgers School of Public Health’s Center for Public Health Workforce Development.
