American Lighting, a leading manufacturer of high-quality lighting innovations for residential, commercial and specialty projects, introduces its new Minuet flexible encased tape light to provide an evenly diffuse, neon-like appearance that eliminates the need for extrusion housing and lenses for small spaces and dynamic direct view lighting installations. The encased tape light can be cut to any length with the maximum run of 16.4 feet for custom applications.
Designed for woodwork and cabinetry, coves, frames, bars, rails, and other areas where a small profile outline of light are needed, the Minuet low-profile encased LED tape light features 4×6 side bend and 6×6 top bend options with 2.36” bending radius. The encased tape light delivers 105 and 182 lumens per foot respectively, while consuming only 2.43 watts per foot.
Minuet encased tape light offers the flexibility of switching between 2700K, 3000K and 4000K at the time of installation to ensure a tailored lighting experience. Minuet is dimmable from 5% – 100% with most ELV and TRIAC dimmers operating on 24V DC.
IP65-rated and cULus-listed for wet locations, the durable Minuet encased tape light with its sealed silicone jacketing is flame, saltwater and UV-resistant. It will perform in temperatures -40°C (-40°F) to 55°C (131°F) with a 50,000-hour performance life. Its easy installation makes it a versatile option for interior and exterior applications.
