Outbuild Announces First-Ever Integration with Schedule Module in Autodesk Construction Cloud

Outbuild, a construction scheduling and planning software company, is integrating with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builders network and predictive insights for construction teams. Construction professionals will be able to directly integrate their schedule into Autodesk® Build, eliminating the need to rely on manual file imports.

Construction schedules have traditionally been managed in siloed tools, often inaccessible to many stakeholders involved in a project. This can lead to delays, rework and communication breakdowns. A study by Autodesk and FMI found that nearly half (48%) of all rework in U.S. construction projects is tied to miscommunication or poor data sharing, contributing to over $31 billion in rework costs annually.

The Outbuild integration is designed to reduce this disconnect. Once a schedule is updated in Outbuild, it can be exported directly to Autodesk Build Files, where it then syncs into the system’s Schedule module. From there, it can be referenced for additional planning and coordination tasks.

Outbuild’s scheduling interface also allows for faster schedule development and updates. The tool is specifically designed for construction workflows, with features that aim to reduce the time needed to build and adjust project timelines.

Autodesk representatives say the integration enhances transparency and collaboration across construction teams, giving architects, contractors, engineers, and owners real-time visibility into scheduling data.

The integration is now available to users of both platforms through the Outbuild integration settings.
