Grote Industries has announced the appointment of Dan Brito as Director of Operations at its Madison, Indiana facility. In his new role, Brito will oversee operations at the company’s Next Generation Manufacturing Center (NGMC), focusing on advancing operational excellence within Grote’s high-tech headlamp production.

Brito brings more than 15 years of manufacturing experience, including an extensive background in automotive headlamp operations from his time at Marelli, where he worked on production for high-volume pickup trucks. He holds a degree in mechatronic engineering and an MBA in project management, equipping him with a strong foundation in both technical and leadership skills.

“Dan’s experience in the automotive industry and headlamp manufacturing makes him a great addition to our team as we continue to aggressively grow our advanced headlamp business,” said John Grote, Chief Operating Officer at Grote Industries. “His expertise in lean manufacturing, along with hands-on knowledge in molding, coating, metallization, and assembly processes, will be critical to achieving our goals of zero defects and 100% on-time delivery.”

Brito expressed his enthusiasm for joining the company, stating, “I’m excited to start this new chapter with Grote Industries. The headlamp business is at a critical moment as it grows, and I plan to help make it even more successful moving forward.”

Grote Industries’ Madison facility plays a key role in the company’s innovation and manufacturing capabilities, particularly as demand for advanced lighting solutions continues to grow in the commercial vehicle and automotive markets.
