Haas Door Updates American Tradition Series with New Options

Haas Door, a leading manufacturer of premium garage doors, continues to expand its product innovation with exciting enhancements to the American Tradition™ Series, now featuring the performance of aluminum and a broader color palette. The new design combines the natural benefits of Haas Door’s 5200 Series aluminum garage doors with the craftsmanship of the American TraditionTM line, delivering a collection that offers both beauty and performance. The corrosion-resistant, wood-grain embossed aluminum construction provides outstanding weather resiliency while reducing door weight compared to steel. Each 2-inch section is filled with environmentally compliant polyurethane insulation and includes a full thermal break for exceptional energy efficiency.

Section joints are engineered with an IECC code-compliant bulb seal for optimal air infiltration protection, and aluminum doors are available with Standard (Non-Florida), Florida Wind Load and Impact options. “By bringing aluminum into the American Tradition Series, we’re giving homeowners and builders the best options possible — performance-driven materials with limitless design flexibility,” said Jeff Nofziger, President of Haas Door. “It’s the perfect combination of durability, efficiency, and curb appeal.”

The enhanced American Tradition Series includes:

  • 42 model choices with overlay boards for realistic depth

  • Flush or V-groove panel styles

  • Inverted options

Models with up to two lite sections for added design flexibility

New aluminum colors: Polar White, Carbon Black, and Sandstone, available with any of 12 solid or five wood grain overlays

Each door in the American TraditionTM Series is handcrafted from low-maintenance materials, ensuring lasting quality and visual appeal. By merging style and corrosion resistance, Haas Door continues its commitment to helping homeowners open the door to endless possibilities.

The addition of Carbon Black and Sandstone aluminum sections also extends to the 5000 Series, which now includes these popular finishes alongside Polar White. The 5000 Series is a traditional, stucco-embossed garage door with four panel styles in three thicknesses to achieve the desired U-Factor for your home.   The 5700 is a 1 ¾” thick door, the 5200 is 2”, and the 5800 is a 3” door with U-Factors ranging from 0.110 to 0.089.  The 5200 and 5800 models come with a bulb seal that meets IECC requirements for air infiltration.

The expansion of aluminum colors in both the American Tradition™ and the 5000 Series provides more options for durability, resiliency, energy efficiency, and performance that open the door to endless possibilities.
