Matern Engineering Adds Amberger and Curtis in Ft Myers

Amberger has over 30 years of senior-level experience in electrical contracting and estimation, taking on multiple projects and capital improvement programs for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), the governing body for LAX and Van Nuys Airports. He has also managed numerous million-dollar commercial and industrial electrical projects for markets including education and healthcare. Amberger approaches each project with a forward-thinking lens, actively anticipating challenges to create effective solutions and secure timely results. Bruce received a certification in project management from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) apprenticeship program, UCLA Project Management Extension.

Curtis has over 15 years of engineering experience, implementing technical software, and managing various plumbing projects for medical facilities, municipal buildings, and commercial spaces. He is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive construction documents, CAD drawings, and Revit models, from initial design concepts through final construction drawings. Accuracy and consistency are the common thread across all of Jeff’s project documentation from cover sheets to plans, sections, schedules, and details. Curtis has an Associate of Science degree in computer-aided drafting and design from Herzing University. Curtis is also Trane-certified in mechanical equipment & systems

design.
