The Harrogate Homebuilding & Renovating Show is set to deliver a substantial £766,000 boost to the local economy this autumn.

The show attracts around 10,000 visitors who spend on hotels, restaurants, shops, and leisure, giving Harrogate a significant financial boost.
Paula Lorimer, Director of Harrogate Convention Centre, said: “We are delighted to renew the relationship with the event. The long-standing show brings together the leading suppliers and experts in the field and offers a great opportunity for homebuilders in the North.”
He said the influx of visitors not only supports existing businesses but encourages new opportunities and investment in the town.
Highlights of this year’s show
From October 31 to November 2, Harrogate Convention Centre will host over 240 exhibitors presenting the latest in homebuilding, renovation, and sustainable solutions.
Visitors can attend seminars led by experts such as Michael Holmes on extensions, Sally Tagg on planning permissions, and David Hilton on energy efficiency.
With thousands expected to attend, the show provides hands-on opportunities to explore products, gather ideas, and receive practical guidance for home projects of all sizes.
