Effective this fall, Travis Taylor will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer, while co-founder Kent Peterson, PE, FASHRAE, transitions to Chief Technical Officer. The dual appointment strengthens P2S’s operational capacity while allowing Peterson—an internationally recognized leader in building decarbonization and energy efficiency—to focus exclusively on the technical innovation that has differentiated the firm throughout its 34-year history.

Travis has been part of P2S for over a decade, embodying the values of collaboration, continuous improvement, and trusted leadership, while keeping the focus on what matters most: clients, people, and communities. He has more than 30 years of experience in the A&E industry, including 25 years in operational management, with a background that includes leadership roles in both small firms and large global organizations. His relevant career operational experience includes opening an office in South America, serving as Vice President and Director of Project Management at P2S, managing a market sector region in Southern California for a multinational engineering firm, and earning an MBA from San Diego State University with an emphasis on organizational systems. We are confident that with this enhanced leadership structure, P2S is well-positioned for the next phase of growth across the Western United States.
