Orlando in 2025 is in the midst of a design evolution. Climate, culture, and community increasingly shape the built environment. Workplaces are no longer static but dynamic environments that must support flexibility, resilience, and well-being.
Reflecting these shifts, FK Architecture has unveiled the renovation of its Maitland office at 2701 Maitland Center Parkway, Suite 125. The space was intentionally designed to embody the firm’s philosophy of blending function with innovation, offering employees and clients a workplace that promotes collaboration, focus, and creativity.
The layout includes flexible meeting rooms that adapt to project needs, open collaboration zones encouraging teamwork and idea exchange, and quiet nooks for concentrated design work. A central design lounge doubles as a client presentation area and an internal hub for charrettes and team discussions. Communal areas such as the café-style break space foster connection, while integrated technology ensures seamless collaboration with partners across Florida and beyond.

The renovation was led by Luis Rosado, Principal, and Jesy Acosta, FK Interiors. Both have been with the firm for nearly 28 years and have seen FK’s legacy remain steady through decades of growth and change. Their shared vision shaped the new office into a workplace that reflects FK’s culture.
We wanted our renovated office to feel like home while supporting how we collaborate and innovate as a team,” said Rosado.
“Designing our own space allowed us to create a workplace that inspires creativity and reflects the inclusive, collaborative culture we’ve built at FK,” added Acosta.
FK Architecture celebrated the opening with clients and partners at its Open House on Thursday, September 18. Looking ahead, the firm will share insights on the construction strategies and interior design choices that shaped its renovation, along with lessons that also redefine how workplace environments are being designed for the future.
