Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced eight new leaders, formerly with CBRE’s U.S. Design Collective division, have joined the firm in its Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Miami and New York offices. The move follows last month’s announcement that the entire domestic Design Collective has joined the Ware Malcomb team.

Atlanta
- Christopher Herron, Director, Structural Engineering, works remotely from North Carolina and brings three decades of structural engineering experience and leadership to Ware Malcomb. He has worked on a wide variety of project types, including aviation, office, retail, university, K-12 education, healthcare, industrial, municipal, parking, sports facilities, warehouse and multifamily. He earned his degree in structural engineering from the University of Connecticut. Herron has designed several award-winning buildings including a national award for engineering excellence.
- Lydia O’Neal, Director, Interior Architecture & Design, has two decades of industry experience and a project track record that ranges from sports design to hospitality and corporate spaces. She has led award-winning teams on projects nationwide and has been recognized with more than 25 design excellence awards from local and national industry associations. A NCIDQ-certified professional, O’Neal earned her BFA in interior design from Atlanta College of Art.

Chicago
- Adrienne Harbarger, Director, Interior Architecture & Design, is a licensed interior designer with more than 20 years of industry experience. She has been recognized with honors, including the Interior Design Best of the Year Award and CoreNet Global Innovator Award. Harbarger is a graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art, and her professional certifications include NCIDQ, LEED AP, WELL AP, and FITWEL.

- Sally Unger, Director, Interior Design, is a licensed interior designer with 17 years of award-winning experience in commercial design. Her career began as a Disney Imagineer and includes record-breaking global projects. She brings deep expertise across workplace, hospitality, multifamily, aviation, and public space design. With a strategic, hospitality-driven approach, Sally delivers cohesive, innovative solutions. She holds a BA in Interior Design from the University of Kentucky and serves as co-chair of its College of Design Advisory Board.

Dallas
- Lauren Prickett, Director, Interior Architecture & Design, has more than 20 years of experience delivering innovative, high-performing environments across the corporate and educational sectors. She is an active member of the design community and has been recognized with multiple industry awards for design excellence. Prickett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in interior architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, and her industry certifications include LEED AP and WELL AP.

Denver
- Sarah Szekeresh, Studio Manager, Branding, will continue to expand the capabilities of Ware Malcomb’s in-house Branding studio. With nearly two decades of experience, her expertise spans strategic planning, experiential design and art management, with a focus on aligning brand activity with the built environment. She earned a BA in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati.

Miami
- Ernie Garcia, Studio Manager, Architecture, is an Associate AIA member with more than 35 years of experience. His design expertise includes a wide array of project types including commercial, healthcare and medical office buildings (MOB), hospitality, multifamily, and corporate offices. During the last 20 years, he has specialized in transportation design, inclusive of parking garages, consolidated rental car facilities, and aviation, including ground-up replacement terminals and concourses. Garcia earned a Master of Architecture from Florida International University.

New York
- Matthew Danowski joins the firm as Director, Electrical Engineering. He has worked on a wide variety of project types, including the government, institutional, higher education, commercial, healthcare, aviation, and mission-critical markets. His design experience encompasses sizing and specifying uninterruptible power supplies, battery systems, generators, PLC-controlled switchgear, medium-voltage distribution, fire alarm systems, and telecommunications systems. A 20-year industry leader, Danowski earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Loyola University Maryland, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and is a licensed Professional Engineer in over thirty states.
