One swing at a time, Vantage Builders turned its fourth annual fore Charity Golf Classic into a $50,000 boost for Fisher House Boston, drawing 100 golfers and support from 39 sponsors at Franklin Country Club on Aug. 11.
Fisher House Boston provides free lodging and compassionate care for military families whose loved ones are receiving medical treatment in Boston. With this year’s contribution, Vantage has donated more than $120,000 to local charities through the tournament since its launch.
“Fisher House Boston is proud any time we can partner with members of the community to further our mission,” says Jennifer DeLuca, Executive Director for Fisher House Boston. “The support from Vantage Builders’ fore Charity Golf Tournament will have a direct impact in the lives of military affiliated patients and their families during medical hardship in Boston, no matter where they are coming from.”
The tournament reception featured Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Ryan Pitts, who shared his story of courage and sacrifice during combat operations in Afghanistan on July 13, 2008. On September 23, Vantage welcomed DeLuca to its office to present the donation check on behalf of its sponsors.

I’d like to thank all the golfers and sponsors of this year’s tournament for their generous support of Fisher House Boston.”
Lead sponsors of the event included Above All Epoxy Flooring, EJ Callahan & Associates, Finbarr Mechanical, IT Solutions, Rockwell Roofing and Superior Contracting Services. Additional sponsors and raffle donors ranged from regional contractors and architectural firms to local chocolatiers and breweries.
The senior management team at Vantage Builders credited Allie Silva, the firm’s Engagement Manager and Office Manager, for organizing the event. Planning is already underway for the fifth annual fore Charity Golf Classic, with sponsorship opportunities available by emailing [email protected].
