Power Curbers Companies, based in Salisbury, North Carolina, has acquired McHenry, Illinois-based Miller Formless Systems. The deal brings together two established manufacturers of concrete slipform equipment, creating a comprehensive product lineup ranging from curb machines to highway pavers.
Miller Formless, founded in 1970, will continue operating under its existing brand name. The company specializes in mid-sized slipform machines known for ease of operation and reliability.
“This acquisition represents more than just growth — it’s about uniting two businesses that share a deep commitment to quality and customer success,” said Stephen Bullock, president of Power Curbers Companies. “Miller Formless has been a trusted name in the industry for over five decades, and we are honored to carry that legacy forward.”
The combined company now offers contractors access to Power Curbers, Power Pavers, Anvil American and Miller Formless brands. Key additions to the product portfolio include Miller’s 5700-D multi-purpose machine, the compact M1000 and the M8800 barrier machine.
Power Curbers Companies said the acquisition will improve machine delivery times, parts availability and after-sales support for customers. The company plans to introduce operational efficiencies while maintaining Miller Formless’ established service standards.
