Searches for the Ralph Lauren home aesthetic have soared and are set to define Fall 2025’s interior design choices. To determine the extent of their influence, Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino analyzed Pinterest trends search data to determine the growth of these trends from 2024 to 2025.
“Ralph Lauren home aesthetic” has surged in popularity since 2024, with Pinterest searches increasing a staggering 1,011% since July 2024. Bedrooms are a focus for this style, with “Ralph Lauren bedroom” increasing by 529%.
“The Ralph Lauren style of interior decorating is a classy mesh of timeless style and contemporary designs while keeping spaces livable,” commented Dawn Rawle, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Entertainment at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
Rawle continued: “Originally introduced in the 80s, Ralph Lauren’s school of interior design draws heavily from rustic and practical styles commonly seen in westerns and country cottages. These inspirations are then combined with more modern aesthetics to produce a style that is not just appealing, but comfortable too.”

The explosion in classic styles is exemplified by the surge in popularity for “cozy English cottage living room,” with Pinterest searches increasing by 9,900% since July last year.
French country styles are also inspiring Pinners. “Cozy French country living room” has increased in popularity by 900%, “French country cottage decorating” by 633%, and “French cottage décor” by 295%.
“Country homes ooze rustic charm,” continued Rawle. “The classic European styling of exposed wood, earthy tones, and comfy upholstery is the ideal living space for many.”
To capture the timeless appeal of the Ralph Lauren aesthetic, along with country styles, Pinterest users are flocking to browns and other earthy colors.
In the bedroom, Pinners are harnessing these tones through wooden furniture. “Dark wood bed frame room ideas” searches have increased by 60% since July ‘24, and “dark wood bedroom” has increased 75% in the same time.
Outside of the bedroom, searches for “brown couch” are up 59% year-on-year, searches for “brown couch aesthetic” have soared 1,280%, and “chocolate brown couch living room ideas” searches are up 150%.
To complement these browns, Pinners are looking to rich blues. “Midnight blue aesthetic” searches have increased by 196%, and “dark blue wallpaper” searches have increased by 56% since last year.
This trend goes hand-in-hand with the resurgence of western aesthetics, which are also defined by earthy tones on rustic and functional furniture. A prime example of this desire for western themes is “cozy western bedroom,” with searches for this up by 1,011% since July 2024.
Rawle expanded on the origins of the western style and why it is experiencing a renaissance in modern culture: “The western aesthetic was originally borne out of necessity, with settlers on the western frontier decorating their homes with the materials they had to hand. This meant there was plenty of wood used to furnish homes, with hard-wearing material like leather used for softer furnishings.”
“Western aesthetics have a great nostalgic and simple charm, which makes it no wonder that people are flocking to this style. This has been helped in no small part by the wave of western themes in pop culture like Beyoncé’s hit album Cowboy Carter and the neo-western TV show Yellowstone.”
“While we might not be as pressed for resources as those folks who went west or the original denizens of European country cottages, capturing some of their styles and ideals can really help you set yourself apart from more mainstream styles. This is especially so if you capture these styles with antiques, thrifting, or even trying your hand at crafts as the frontier settlers would have had to do.”
