Bryan Construction Ends Q2 with Rankings, Awards and Growth

Bryan Construction wrapped up the second quarter of 2025 with a series of meaningful milestones that reflect the strength of its operations and the depth of its commitment to community. The quarter was defined by industry recognition, impactful project progress, strategic team development and increased engagement with local and national partners.

One of the quarter’s most notable achievements was Bryan Construction’s upward movement on Engineering News-Record’s 2025 list of the Top 400 Contractors. Bryan Construction climbed to No. 314 nationally, marking a 50-spot rise from the previous year and underscoring the company’s consistent client trust and construction excellence across markets.

Further affirming this momentum, Bryan Construction was named Best in Business General Contractor 2025 by the Southern Colorado Business Forum and Digest, a recognition that reflects the company’s leadership and performance in the regional construction industry.

At the ColoradoBiz Magazine’s annual Top Project Awards, Bryan Construction earned honors for two of its standout developments: Solid Ground Apartments and Care Synergy Colorado PACE. These projects were recognized not only for their technical execution and collaboration but also for the positive impact they’ve had on their communities.

Internally, the company invested in its people through a robust internship program, welcoming eight early-career professionals who will gain real-world training, mentoring and on-site experience. The team also welcomed David Picard as a new project manager in the federal group. Picard brings more than 12 years of experience in federal construction following his service as a U.S. Army aviation officer.

As an employee-owned business, Bryan Construction remains an advocate for the employee stock ownership plan model and the long-term value it creates for employees, clients and communities. In April, the company hosted Congressman Jeff Crank at its Colorado Springs headquarters to discuss the impact of employee ownership on company culture, performance and industry resilience. That same commitment to shared success carried into the National Center for Employee Ownership’s 2025 Annual Employee Ownership Conference in Salt Lake City, where Bryan Construction joined other ESOP companies to exchange ideas on ownership strategy and workforce development.

Bryan Construction was active across a range of industry events this quarter. Business Development Manager Whitney Williamson attended the 2025 Joint Engineer Training Conference in Louisville, Kentucky, connecting with leaders in defense and aerospace and gaining insights from sessions organized by the Society of American Military Engineers. Bryan Construction had a strong presence at the 40th Annual Space Symposium, where the team reconnected with longtime partners and explored the evolving needs of the aerospace and defense sectors.

Bryan Construction also was represented at the Colorado Space Business Roundtable, the Bisnow Life Sciences Summit and multiple local meetups that strengthened cross-sector relationships. Additionally, the company co-hosted a networking mixer with Nooks to celebrate its recent accreditation milestone.

From sponsoring the Women in Design VIP Night and the Colorado Association of School Board Official’s social, to attending the Boulder Chamber Foundation’s 120th Annual Golf Tournament and the Outdoor Lab Foundation Gala, Bryan Construction continues to show up for the causes and organizations shaping Colorado. The team also supported the Food Bank for Larimer County’s Corporate Food Fight fundraiser, and at Pikes Peak Small Business Week, Vice President Doug Woody presented the Small Business Champion of the Year Award.

“This past quarter reflects what we strive to achieve every day at Bryan Construction. From being recognized nationally to supporting local fundraisers and mentoring the next generation of builders, every success is rooted in our people and our partnerships,” said Brian Burns, president of Bryan Construction. “Our commitment to showing up — not just to build a project, but trust and long-term community impact — is what sets us apart and will carry us forward.”

With the second half of the year ahead, Bryan Construction remains focused on delivering high-quality projects, growing its talent pipeline and advancing a culture of ownership and innovation.
