Lubrication Engineers, Inc. has acquired RSC Bio Solutions, a company known for producing biodegradable lubricants used in marine and industrial environments. The acquisition broadens LE’s product range with environmentally focused lubrication options and extends its presence in applications where sustainability and regulatory compliance are priorities.
RSC Bio Solutions manufactures the EnviroLogic® and FUTERRA® product lines—lubricants designed to biodegrade fully and meet environmental performance standards. These products are commonly used in marine vessels and equipment operating in ecologically sensitive areas.
The integration of RSC Bio Solutions into Lubrication Engineers is expected to support further development of synthetic and sustainable lubricants. It is the second acquisition for LE since its partnership with private equity firm Aurora Capital Partners began in late 2023.
Executives from both companies indicated that the move will enable expanded capabilities by combining LE’s distribution and infrastructure with RSC’s product innovation. The combined portfolio will continue to serve industries that require high-performance lubricants with minimal environmental impact.
