Trimble Expands Field-to-Office Connectivity | For Construction Pros

Trimble has introduced a new integration between its B2W Track and Siteworks software platforms, designed to help civil contractors more easily monitor and compare actual earthwork quantities against planned targets. This integration supports more accurate and efficient progress tracking, helping teams make timely decisions in the field and manage billing based on completed work.

The workflow enables project managers to request material quantity measurements—such as cut, fill, or haul volumes—directly within B2W Track. These requests are automatically sent to field teams using Siteworks, who then collect the required measurements using survey-grade tools. The data is returned to B2W Track for review and reconciliation with other jobsite reporting, such as daily field logs. Contractors can also transfer this data to accounting platforms, including Trimble Viewpoint Vista, Viewpoint Spectrum, or other third-party systems.

By combining the surveying and site management capabilities of Siteworks with the performance tracking features of B2W Track, Trimble aims to reduce manual data handling, improve accuracy, and speed up progress reporting. The integration is part of Trimble’s broader effort to support connected workflows across construction operations.

The new progress-to-plan reporting functionality is now available in North America for contractors using both software systems, with no additional licensing costs required.
